Nash Engraving

Nash Engraving is a New Jersey small business offering wholesale mechanical and laser engraving services

primarily to the sign trades and government agencies.

The history of the company traces back to 1959 when Charlie Nash was Scoutmaster of the local Explorer Boy Scout Troop. As a fundraiser for the troop, Charlie bought an engraving machine and the scouts sold nameplates. After that project ended, Charlie recognized that there was a potential business in mechanical engraving.

“The rest,” as they say, “is history.”

What developed from that simple beginning was one of the largest mechanical engraving shops in the eastern United States.

In January of 2014 we purchased the engraving business of our former customer Commercial Emblem Co.

They had served government agencies for many years, supplying them with nameplates, name badges, recognition plaques

and many other products.

Nash Engraving began as, and remains today, a family owned and operated business.
